Synopsis
Ralph Montgomery is a real estate agent. He pampers his wife by hiring a cook named Mrs. Sutton. He has second thoughts about Sutton, however, when he discovers that police are looking for a woman has killed three people posing as a cook. Growing suspicious of Sutton, Ralph takes a cup of hot chocolate she made for him and tests it. He is shocked to discover that it contains a dangerous amount of arsenic. He goes home and immediately fires Sutton. As she leaves, she tells him his wife has been cheating on him. Ralph is in for another shock when he discovers that the real murderer has been arrested. He then realizes that it must have been his wife who was trying to kill him, as she brings him a mug of hot chocolate to sooth his nerves. (TV.com)
