Alfred Hitchcock Presents...
Beginning in 1959, Random House released a series of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents..." anthologies in hardback to capitalise on the success of the show. Despite the title, the stories came from a variety of sources, not just the television series.[1]
The paperback editions were published by Dell Publishing (USA) and Pan Books Ltd (UK) and were typically as two separate volumes for each hardback, with each containing around half of the stories from the Random House publication.
