Site Documentation: Films

Hitchcock's films, and also the films he had some involvement with, has been split into two categories:

1. the major films
2. everything else

The 53 "major films" start with The Pleasure Garden (1925) and end with Family Plot (1976).

The following have not been included in the "major films" list:

• any films prior to The Pleasure Garden (1925)
• Elstree Calling (1930)
• Mary (1931)
• Bon Voyage (1944)
• Aventure Malgache (1944)

Note About Years

Whilst developing the Wiki, a decision was made to use the years shown for each film at the Internet Movie Database site in July 2006.

For example, this means that the Wiki has "Waltzes from Vienna" listed as 1934 and not 1933.
